You're amazing, Sara! How you've managed to write so many books while homeschooling children, I don't know (perhaps you can write about this in another post!). Although, in saying that I did manage to write a full draft of my novel in six months while in lockdown with a toddler and homeschooling a kindergartener- so as mum's I know we are resilient and can make it work.

Now THAT is impressive Lauren! We certainly are a resilient bunch. And thanks for the great idea for another post too - I'd love to explore that a bit more.

I look forward to reading it. Finding or making time to write is always the biggest struggle for parents :-)

I don't have any children myself, but we have a gorgeous god-daughter who is bright, effervescent, communicative, cheeky in an adorable way. She's about to go to childcare (or ehatever you go to when you're 3 😆), and we're really hoping it doesn't change her.

Also, as a side note, I just read this on someone else's substance (Beth Kemtpon): "my 10 year-old just show me her sketch book and said, 'I think I've found my style'. Beth asked her how she knew, and she said, 'because I enjoyed it'. Wise words I thought you might enjoy 😄

Hi Amanda. Thanks so much for your comments. Your goddaughter sounds adorable and I love that quote from the 10yo too. I know that feeling of sending your little superstar off and praying they have a good experience and people are kind - I hope your goddaughter goes well x
